Customer service roles might not be the easiest jobs, but plenty exist. If you do a quick search, you’ll find thousands of remote positions with ranging pay.

Not all customer service jobs pay as much as $40,000 a year, but since jobs are plenty, you have room to be picky. In the U.S., the average pay for a customer service representative is $19.12. However, it can reach as much as nearly $40 an hour.

Landing a job with no experience as a teacher and the right credentials is easy, but it varies by state. However, remote positions are plenty, and since teachers are in demand, it’s easy to land a role in virtual schools.

My best friend started teaching at an online homeschool once she graduated with her degree in education. On average, first-year teachers make $44,530.

When I first got into content writing, I knew nothing. It’s so embarrassing going back to my previous work and seeing all the mistakes I made. However, that’s part of the process.

Entry-level content writers can make good money, and most roles are freelance. This depends on the company. I’ve seen entry-level salaries reach as high as $60,000.

I always assumed you needed extra schooling to be an insurance agent, but apparently, that’s not the case.

My brother became an insurance agent with just customer service experience. His longest job was as a fry cook at McDonald’s, yet he is paid over $20 an hour to call insurance companies from home. His company paid for his insurance and training.

IT isn’t something everyone knows, but if you have the skills, might as well put them to the test. It was a lot like being a personal assistant, but entirely online.

Virtual assisting isn’t something you need a degree in to get your foot in the door.
